F.A.Q.

How long have you been writing?

Since I was a little girl. I can still remember the way the sun was streaming through the windows as I sat on my tiny chair and read "see Spot run." The words actually tasted delicious in my mouth and I've been feasting on them ever since.

What led you to inspirational writing?

All of my life I have been writing and my stories always seem to have some type of moral epiphany or awakening.

Are you available for speaking engagements?

I am available for speaking engagements and radio/print interviews. Just contact me and let me know what dates you are inquiring about.

I also have a seminar His Purpose for Your Writing, which informs and teaches the novice writer how to approach the gift they have, fine tune it and send it out.

What are you currently working on?

I recently finished a hilarious fiction manuscript about a group of women who have been living in my head for years. Seeing them come to life is exciting! I’m looking for a publishing home for it.

What other interests do you have?

I love to minister to young women and discuss things that are important to them such as marriage, family and pursuing their dreams. I also am an avid sweepstaker! Along with doing a column at Bellaonline.com I have a website Sweepstakes Success where you can read more about my zany hobby.

What would you tell someone who wanted to write but did not know how to begin, or if they even should?

I would tell them to jot down their thoughts, keep a journal and see if a passion arises inside of themselves. When words become more important than watching a television show or hanging out at the mall, then they are ready to put pen to paper.
